Jovana Milovanović is the director of Extraction Point. She holds a degree in international relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences, where she also defended her master’s thesis in the field of regional security and defense initiatives in the Balkans. Currently, she is in the process of defending her doctoral dissertation on the topic of regional cooperation in combating organized crime and terrorism.
Previously, she served as an assistant minister for international relations, European integration, and projects at the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Policy. She also held a position as an advisor for bilateral relations with European countries at the Ministry of Defense. Furthermore, she has collaborated on various projects with the Center for International Humanitarian Law, international organizations, and the European Center for Peace and Development.
Jovana is a licensed mediator certified by the Ministry of Justice, and she is currently in the process of obtaining a lobbyist license. As a seasoned consultant, she collaborates with both domestic and international organizations and companies. She has actively participated in numerous training programs organized by prestigious global organizations and initiatives such as EFB, NDI, NATO School Germany, and the European Alpbach Forum.
